Cabinet Approves New Dam Safety Regulations under Dam Safety Act 2021

The Union Cabinet approved comprehensive Dam Safety Regulations, 2026 under the Dam Safety Act, 2021, mandating Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) for all large dams, quarterly structural inspections, and a National Dam Safety Register. India Ratifies Minamata Convention Amendment on Dental Amalgam Phase-Out

PM Inaugurates Shivamogga–Hassan–Mysuru Dedicated Freight Corridor Extension

Padma Awards 2026: 132 Personalities Honoured, Record 30 Posthumous Awards
