Parliament Passes the Digital Personal Data Protection (Amendment) Bill, 2026

Lok Sabha passed the Digital Personal Data Protection (Amendment) Bill, 2026, introducing mandatory 72-hour data breach notification to the Data Protection Board of India and granting children above 14 the right to provide independent consent for non-sensitive data. India's Current Account Deficit Narrows to 0.8% of GDP in Q3 FY26

Ministry of Science Launches National Quantum Computing Mission Phase II

Great Indian Bustard Conservation Programme Expands to Three New Districts

Assam Finalises Boundary Demarcation with Meghalaya for Remaining 6 Disputed Areas

The Chief Ministers of Assam and Meghalaya signed a joint declaration finalising boundary demarcation for the remaining six disputed areas covering 34.9 sq km, resolving a decades-long inter-state boundary dispute.
