RBI Monetary Policy Committee Holds Repo Rate at 6.00% — Accommodative Stance Maintained
EconomyThe Reserve Bank of India's Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) voted 5:1 to hold the repo rate at 6.00% while maintaining an accommodative monetary policy stance. The reverse repo rate stands at 3.35%. MPC projected FY27 real GDP growth at 7.1% and CPI inflation at 4.2%. The MPC was constituted under Section 45ZB of the RBI Act, 1934.
ISRO Successfully Deploys GSAT-N3 Communication Satellite in Geostationary Orbit
ScienceISRO's LVM3-M4 mission successfully deployed GSAT-N3 into geostationary transfer orbit from the Second Launch Pad, SDSC SHAR. Cabinet Approves Amendment to the Scheduled Castes Sub-Plan Framework
